DA MONDAY 'INITIATIVE ON 1860 REBELLION LUCAN

At the twelfth week of culture, promoted by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities' culture, and the 150 * anniversary of the uprising of 1860 Lucan, the State Archives Power, in collaboration with the Regional Council of Basilicata, organized the initiative''The documents tell the story of Luke's insurrection in 1860.''

For five days, April 19 to 23, the repository will open 'doors to schools. L'iniziativa, che mira a sollecitare l'attenzione sull'importanza che l'insurrezione del 1860 ebbe per il felice esito dell'Unita' d'Italia, verra' presentata durante una conferenza stampa che si terra' venerdi' nella sala conferenze dell'Archivio di Stato di Potenza, alle ore 17,30.

Dopo i saluti del presidente del Consiglio regionale della Basilicata, Prospero De Franchi, seguiranno gli interventi di Attilio Maurano, Direttore regionale per i beni culturali e paesaggistici della Basilicata, e di Franco Inglese, Direttore generale dell'Ufficio scolastico regionale per la Basilicata. Le relazioni saranno tenute da Valeria Verrastro, Direttore dell'Archivio di Stato di Potenza e dallo storico Giampaolo D'Andrea. I lavori saranno coordinati dal giornalista Rai e saggista Rocco Brancati.
